Continental Wrestling Entertainment (CWE) is an Indian Pro Wrestling Promotion, School, and training center in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. The Founder and Owner of The CWE, Dalip Singh Rana (The Great Khali) is a former WWE wrestler. He is famous for his large height, and great physique. Khali’s CWE academy has produced some well-known wrestlers such as Kavita Devi, Shanky Singh, Sukhi, Laxmikant Rajpoot and more

Company History
CWE is founded on 18th January 2015. The Great Khali left WWE to start a first Pro Wrestling promotion and academy in India and he named this Continental Wrestling Entertainment. At the start of this company, The Great Khali got many students from all over the world. Most of the students are from India. Khali also invites some well knows wrestlers to perform in their events. CWE held many big shows around the Panjab, Harnaya, and some nearest locations of CWE headquarter. The Great Khali was invited to The Jinder Mahal, Katie Forbes, Harbajan Singh, Rakhi Sawant and more to wrestle in their shows as guest wrestlers.

Terminology
CWE uses a variety of special terms in promoting their product, such as describing the wrestling industry as sports entertainment, Traning new wrestlers, Providing Pro Wrestling Events, etc. This is a new company thatswhy CWE is not more scattered yet. Currently, they have no more fanbase available.
WWE Network and distribution deals, TV Deal
As I said CWE is not so scattered yet, so they just telecast shows in India. The great Khali managed tv deal with PTV Punjab news channel which telecasts weekly shows and mega shows of CWE in India. According to PTC News Writer, All the matches will be available live on PTC News India and PTC News USA. Every CWE Big Fight event will be stream live on the youtube channel of the PTC Punjab Gold From 4 pm onwards. For attending CWE mega show events you need to buy tickets that will be available outside the venue. You can buy tickets a day before the event.

CWE Storyline
First of all, let me talk about what is happening in this CWE wrestling academy. Here too is a familiar script. India squaring off with Pakistan. Also in the mix are a doubtful baba, a corrupt police officer and a plucky woman. This storyline is based on Indian rural culture, but I don’t know how they will get a response from the Indian audience.
CWE videos themselves are hardly fine. But then, delicacy has never had a place in the world of pro wrestling. What matters are the eyeballs – and CWE is getting its share of those. CWE’s YouTube channel has over 2 million subscribers, with many videos averaging close to a million views.
This academy is Spread in eight acres area, which trains nearly 150 wrestlers, who are put up on the second floor of the building. There is a gym, mess, and in a corner on the ground floor is Khali’s office, the walls of which are covered with photographs of the WWE alumni posing with well-known personalities, including PM Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump. In the center of the academy, there is the ring, which unfolds every Saturday when nearly a hundred all-male audience from Jalandhar and villages nearby gather to watch the fights.
The villain is almost always Faruqua Khan, who is, predictably, from Pakistan. Corrupt police officer Singham Dubey Ji and Baba Raghudev round off the rogues’ gallery. There is a woman character too, Cheeni Aaliya, and contending with them all is Shanky Singh, the 7’1” poster boy of CWE who is now known for an actor who worked with Salman Khan in his Bharat Movie.

CWE has a good coaches team, some skilled pro wrestlers, and mega shows experience. Continental Wrestling Entertainment is good for getting trained for pro wrestling. According to CWE social media interaction, wrestling in CWE shows is not very good.
